Lutèce Dynamics officially launches VertX™: a next-generation microscopy module for in vitro imaging of 3D cell cultures

Paris, November 4, 2025 – Lutèce Dynamics, a TechBio French-based startup created in 2024 and spun out of the Vision Institute and Langevin Institute, announces the official launch of VertX™, its innovative microscopy module. This marks the company’s entry into the market with a technology designed to transform 3D cell culture imaging, enabling non-invasive observation and metabolic analysis of optically thick biological samples.

Innovation for deeper and more insightful research

Developed after several years of R&D, VertX™ integrates seamlessly with existing microscopes to deliver high-resolution imaging in depth, without altering the sample. Its ability to provide activity information on cells opens new perspectives for biomedical research, pharmacology, and biotechnology applications.

Ready for adoption by the scientific community

Successfully tested in demanding research environments, VertX™ has proven its reliability and potential to accelerate studies on complex biological models, while removing the need for fluorescent labeling or destructive interventions. Lutèce Dynamics is now preparing the first deliveries of the module and engaging with new academic and industrial partners interested in evaluating the technology.

Brain and Mind sponsors collaborative project about 3D in vitro models

We are pleased to announce that we have been selected among the startups supported by Brain&Mind in their quest to unveil the potential of innovative technologies in neuroscience.

The project will be carried out in partnership with Cherry Biotech , a leading French company in the European landscape of 3D in vitro models. Their cutting-edge portfolio ranges from simple spheroid systems to the most advanced, physiologically relevant organoids and microphysiological systems (MPS).

The goal of the collaboration will be to adapt our non invasive imaging technique with Cherry’s 24 patented multiwell microfluidic solution in order to enhance the performance of the two technologies.

Stay tuned, more insights coming soon!
